I’ve seen ads for Mainstream on local news station for a long while. I looked up their rating at BBB before calling them on July 27. I was offered an appt for July 28 and told no payment until work was completed.
The service technician Daryl, who happens to be a licensed plumber, called to let me know of his ETA. He donned shoe covers upon entering my residence which has wood floors. Since I was a new customer, he reviewed the bid to selection process using tablet as visual aid. We then walked thru my home to each area where I had a plumbing issue. He took notes and repeated my concern to make sure he wrote it down correctly. He explained the problems and the repair to correct the problems. I was presented with a spectrum of options spanning all services (top dollar) to minimal services (least expensive). I was told financing was an option as well. He pulled up kitchen faucet options on tablet so I could make a selection.
Daryl was very personable. He was respectful of my time schedule. He connected me with office staff via phone to explore financing options.
To my disbelief, a crew from Mainstream is coming out tomorrow just two days since my initial call to do the work. Daryl indicated Mainstream sometimes acts as subcontractor which I’ll mentally Rolodex for a kitchen remodel I plan to do in next 1-2 years.
