Helping Those Who Help Others in Spokane, North Idaho & Beyond!

Each month, our clients at Mainstream Electric, Heating, Cooling, & Plumbing have the opportunity to nominate a local non-profit organization for our $500 "ZAPP Gives Back" donation! • Boys & Girls Club of Kootenai County
  • Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Inland Northwest

Boys & Girls Club of Kootenai County

According to the Boys & Girls Club of Kootenai County, their mission is to enable all young people, especially those who need them most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, and responsible citizens. This after-school program and summer youth development agency has locations in Post Falls and Coeur d’Alene. They keep membership fees low, at just $20 for the entire school year or $20 for the summer. Above all else, The Boys & Girls Club of Kootenai County strives to help as many kids in our community as possible. Since their membership fees are so minimal, they rely on community support to sustain their programs and provide a great experience to local youth. If this organization were to win, they are prepared to use the funds as financial support for their summer programs. They have a constant need for new supplies and equipment. With over 1,000 children and teens registered at their facilities this summer, $500 would serve as a huge help in achieving their mission.

Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Inland Northwest

They provide temporary lodging, comfort, and support for families with children accessing medical services in Spokane, and support related efforts to improve children's health in our region. RMHC InNW provides the basic necessities of lodging and food, decreases stress, and supports mental health for both children and their parents. Community members will come and serve families by making meals and baking cookies and we try to offset the costs of supplies with money donated.

All donations stay local and community members will know that their financial giving is directly impacting our community. The donations received would go directly towards our mission. This can include lodging, food, gift cards for families, etc. because RMHC InNW provides our services at no cost to the families. The money donated stays locally to benefit families from the Inland Northwest.
